The Immersive Room: a virtual reality (VR) earthquake experience

The Immersive Room allows visitors to experience an earthquake in virtual reality (VR)

What would you do if an earthquake struck your town?
In the Immersive Room, the virtual reality (VR) application will allow you to immerse yourself in a seismic scenario recreated using 3D animation techniques: an interactive and engaging experience that combines learning and technology.

You’ll find yourself catapulted into a flat in the centre of Potenza during an earthquake. You’ll have just a few minutes to make the right decisions: gather essential items, take shelter and evacuate the flat safely. Will you make the right choices? At the end, you’ll find out how correct your choices were and how everyone else behaved before you!

An interactive and immersive edutainment experience that uses new technologies to turn play into learning.

IMPORTANT NOTICE. This virtual reality experience includes intense visual and audio effects, motion simulation and content that may be disturbing to certain groups of people. Participation is not recommended for: pregnant women, people with epilepsy or photosensitive disorders, people prone to motion sickness or vestibular disorders, people with cardiovascular conditions, and children under the age of 10.
If in doubt, please consult your doctor before taking part.
